Continue the session as if it were an in-person crisis

Activate the emergency protocol. Keep the patient engaged while initiating emergency services. This requires having the patient's physical address on file. Assess lethality. Do not end the session until emergency services arrive.

End the session and call 911

Instruct the patient to drive to the nearest emergency room
