This Policy explains how PMHNP Helper collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use pmhnphelper.com. PMHNP Helper is an educational study service. Do not enter patient information into the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Account details, such as your name and email address, through Clerk.
Optional profile and planning details, such as your role, school, program type, expected graduation date, exam type, exam date, practice state, and referral source.
Marketing-email preference and communications you send to us.
Purchase and subscription information from Stripe. Stripe processes payment-card details; we retain a Stripe customer ID and access status.

Information collected automatically

Study activity, such as questions answered, answer accuracy, completed cases, flashcard progress, pathway progress, study schedule, streaks, badges, feature usage, quiz and case completion, and study-session timing.
Navigation and attribution data, such as pages visited, recent navigation trails, last visited path, referring URL, landing page, and UTM campaign parameters.
Device and service data, such as IP address, browser or device information, authentication data, and security logs collected by our service providers.

Some study, navigation, and attribution data is linked to your account so progress can sync across devices and we can understand how the Service is used. It is not anonymous merely because it is used for analytics. PMHNP Helper does not intentionally collect city-level or precise geolocation data and does not automatically store location derived from your IP address in your PMHNP Helper account.

2. Why we collect information

Provide accounts, paid access, progress synchronization, study tools, and support.
Personalize study planning and show your progress.
Understand feature usage, improve the Service, and evaluate marketing channels.
Process billing, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with law.
Send marketing email only when you opt in. You may unsubscribe at any time.

3. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the Service, including Clerk for authentication and user profiles, Stripe for billing, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Google Analytics when configured, and Resend for email delivery and waitlists. These providers process information according to their terms and privacy policies.

4. Sale and advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any required choices.

5. Cookies and local storage

Clerk uses essential cookies for authentication. We also use browser local storage to remember settings and hold study-progress data before syncing. Google Analytics, when enabled, may use analytics cookies. Browser settings and the Google Analytics opt-out tools can limit analytics cookies, but disabling essential storage may affect functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain account-linked information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Browser-side study and navigation data is capped in the application where practical. We retain billing records as required for tax, accounting, dispute, and fraud-prevention purposes. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal information within 30 days unless retention is required or permitted by law.

7. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or ask questions about our practices, by emailing support@pmhnphelper.com. We may verify your identity using your account email. Residents of some states may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

8. Data security

We use safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, Clerk authentication, access controls, and service-provider security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults and professional learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

10. International users

The Service is operated in the United States. Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.
